JACKIE || Playing the iconic first lady, Natalie Portman takes her first real run at earning herself an Oscar nomination. Following the brutal assassination of  her husband, the president JFK, “Jackie” follows Portman’s title character through the aftermath directly following those events. Director Pablo Larrain, whose foreign film “No” was nominated for an Oscar offers some thought-provoking visuals and what has been said to be a haunting score.	THEATER
	MAN DOWN || To his credit, I do believe Shia LeBeouf to be an exceptional actor, if only his civilian life wasn’t so crazy. In “Man Down,” he plays a soldier that loses a friend in war and what appears to be his recollection of that and his eventual downfall because of it. Gary Oldman and Kate Mara seal the deal on the film that has hardly been talked about.	RENT
	PET || Dominic Monaghan was one of my favorite parts of the “Lost” series but besides being apart of the epic “Lord Of The Rings” trilogy, Monaghan has sort of kept off the radar. In “Pet,” he plays the villain, a lonely man looking for companionship by stalking a woman on social media and then locking her in a cage in his basement. Jennette McCurdy also co-stars.	STREAM
